Our Goal

Our goal here at Stallards German Shepherds is to up hold the German Shepherd Standard with the German Shepherds we own and their puppies. To breed for quality not quantity.

In our opinion many breeders have taken out the working gene of the German Shepherds here in America to make a better show dog. By this we mean the nerves and the prey drive.

Our breeding program emphasizes the BALANCED DOG. Show appearance with excellent conformation, outstanding temperament, and top working abilities for family protection, protection dogs, schutzhund, agility, search and rescue, police work, drug and bomb detection and outstanding family dogs.

Who We Are

My wife Jamie Stallard and myself Daniel Stallard started Stallards German Shepherds to help improve the German Shepherd breed. We believe by having some of the best working Czech and DDR blood lines in our GSD's we can do this. We believe that not only should a GSD be able work but also be able to be a great family companion and your best friend.

Jamie and I were raised around dogs and other farm animals our whole life. My family has been breeding German Shepherds and Dachshunds for over 30 years. I joined the army when I was 18, I served four years in Hawaii as a military police officer. I came back state side in August of 2008 with a dream of having a Kennel that would help up hold German Shepherd standard.

Then theirs the BOSS around the house and the kennel, Hunter. Hunter is our 15 month old son who just loves animals. Hunter would be out side with dogs every second of the day if he could. I hate to say it but one of his first five words was dog.
